As Director of Literacy for Columbus City Schools,

Jennifer led the district’s transition to the Science of Reading, guiding a multi-year, multi-million dollar initiative during a global pandemic. Recognizing that 61% of students living in poverty have no books at home, she made it her mission to place the district at the center of change – empowering families, supporting educators, and ensuring students had access to the resources they needed to succeed. Here is a summary of her work during her time with CCS.
